I Am Better With Money: I want to save and invest more this year

One of the most unique things about Eyowo has to be the design; it is user-friendly and easy to navigate. A well-curated and mindful experience.

The ‘I Am Better with Money’ series tells the money stories of real Nigerians and how they manage their money better with Eyowo.

In this episode, our customer, Chiziaruhoma, shares with us what motivates him to get better with his finances and about saving more with Eyowo.

Tell us a bit about yourself
I'm Chiziaruhoma and I'm a 20 year old mobile engineer.

Is there something cool you’re working on that you would like to share with us?
I’m currently working on a lot of new cool projects in the Web3/crypto space, most of which I can’t talk about publicly, but I can say that I’m mostly glad that there are many people who get to use these products daily.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate adulting and why?
I’d rate adulting a 5. It gets hard for me sometimes. I guess the transition was a lot easier because I began taking responsibility for a lot of things when I was still a teenager.

When did you first become aware of the value of money?
I’d say since my primary school days. Money as a concept began to make sense to me. The rest is history.

What is the most important thing that shapes your finances?
I think it would be the zeal to work harder and earn more as I do. I just have to.

What 'want' do you spend the most money on?
I spend most of my money on comfort. Really though, anything that gives me comfort is worth spending on.

How did you hear about Eyowo?
I’ve known about Eyowo for over 3 years. I had a few friends who were on the team and I got to know about the app through them.

How has your experience been so far?
It has been great, seamless and unproblematic mostly. A well-curated and mindful experience.

What do you think makes your experience with the app unique?
For me it would have to be the design. The design is unique and very user friendly. The features are easy to navigate and they provide real value for the users.

What's one money habit you want to change?
I set out to save more and invest more this year. I've been able to do one extremely well so now I just need to work towards the other.

Top financial goal for 2022?
I already surpassed my financial goal for 2022.

Mad oh. Is there any particular thing you’re looking forward to with Eyowo?
Currently, I think it's just USD debit cards. I really hope that my wish comes true.
