In this episode, we spoke with Idris Abbas, a loyal Eyowo customer who is working to expand his business with funds from his Eyowo Safe. Find out what Idris thinks is the best money app on his phone.

Hello Idris, tell us a bit about yourself

I am Muhammad Idris Abbas, a graduate of Microbiology from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, I am from Sokoto. I am an entrepreneur currently running my business center here.

Is there something cool you’re working on that you would like to share with us?

I guess what I am working on now is to expand my business which I just started recently from the little I was able to save up from my service year.

On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate adulting and why?

7. Adulting is not easy at all, but with the Eyowo Grow feature I have been able to save to a reasonable extent and sort my bills out. :D

When did you first become aware of the value of money

First ASUU strike back then when I was in 100L. No allowances, no pocket money from anybody. It was a hard lesson to learn.

What is the most important thing that shapes your finances?

Saving and budgeting, I guess.

What 'want' do you spend the most money on?

Data and food. A hungry Idris is a hungry man.

How did you hear about Eyowo?

Twitter. I was scrolling through the TL in 2021 and here I am, over a year later, still loyal.

How has your experience been so far?

In fact, people still find it hard to believe when I tell them about Eyowo. Even my own siblings took time to be convinced. Eyowo is currently the best money app on my phone. Airtime top-up is smooth, transfers, and even their customer service is topnotch. Eyowo is just the best fam. Every Nigerian should be using Eyowo. No cap.  <3

What do you think makes your experience with the app unique?

The user interface is very easy to operate and understand straight up. Easy to log in too. Before you know it your transactions are completed. They do as they say.

What's one money habit you want to change?

Buying data from my Eyowo X App haha.

Top financial goal for 2022?

More funds! Financial stability;  to be able to afford and get what I want when I want it. Insha Allah better days ahead.

Is there any particular thing you’re looking forward to with Eyowo?

For now, I guess nothing. Even though my card is yet to be delivered to me. Can’t wait to start using my card.
