How to Fund your Eyowo X via Cards

Here’s how to add money to your account to enable you to start managing your money better.

• Launch your Eyowo X
• Tap Go on the home page.
• Select Add Money 
• Enter the amount to be added to your Eyowo
• Choose Cards as your funding method
• Select the card from which you want to fund.
• Dial the generated code and follow the on-screen instructions.

How to send money to a Phone Number

Yes, you can send money to your recipient’s phone number. Here’s how!

• Launch your Eyowo X
• Tap Go
• Select Send to Phone number 
• Select the contact/individual who you’re sending money to
• Enter the amount you’re sending
• Input your reference, so that you can track your expenses properly.
• Select how you want the recipient to be notified; SMS or WhatsApp
• Review the details of your transaction
• Tap on the Send Payment button
• Verify the transaction with your PIN or Biometric method

Your payment will be instantly processed!
 

How to send to a Bank Account

If you’d rather send money to another bank , here's how to do so on your Eyowo X.

• Launch your Eyowo X
• Select the Go button on the home page.
• Select Send to Bank Account
• You have the option to choose from an existing list of beneficiaries or create a new beneficiary.

Create a new beneficiary

• Select the bank of the beneficiary
• input the required details
• Tag your expenses

Select an Existing Beneficiary

• Select the beneficiary to which you want to send money.
• Input the amount you want to send.
• Input the transaction reference.
• Tap Continue
• Confirm the transaction with your Pin or Biometric method

Voila, your transaction will be processed instantly!

How to Save

Saving money helps make sure you’re not caught off guard when unforeseen financial blows happen. With Eyowo X, you need not worry about that! You can save and grow your money with up to 13% interest. Here’s how to do so:

• Launch your Eyowo X app
• Tap Go
• Tap Save
• Tap the plus sign at the top right corner of the page.
• Choose your category
• Choose fund frequency
• Input target amount
• Input funding amount
• Input debit day
• Input start date
• Input end date
• Choose withdrawal period
• Name your Safe
• Choose funding method
• Create Safe

How to set up Controls

Wondering how to get a hold of your spending pattern and make some changes to how you spend? You happen to be in the right place! With Eyowo Controls, you are in charge of all your expenses. You can control how much you want to spend weekly or monthly.  Below is a quick run through of how to set up a budget on Eyowo.

Dig in. You’re welcome!

• Launch your Eyowo X
• Tap Go and select Controls 
• Click on the plus button at the top right corner 
• Select how you want your budget to run, either weekly or monthly.
• Choose your spending limit.
• Choose to split your spending across categories e.g. Transport, Food, Shopping, etc
• Input the amount you would like to split across each category, if you choose not to split, please skip to the next step.
• Select the Account you are applying this limit on and tap Continue.
• Tap the Create Budget button.

NOTE: You can edit, disable or delete your created budget at any time. Yes, you can control your spending.

For ease of access to your money, we’ve gone ahead to re-imagine ways to receive money. Be it a payment for a service or product, a cash gift, a donation, a little or a lot of help in time of need, here are the multiple ways you can receive money besides sharing your account number:

How to send an Eyowo Money Request

• Launch the Eyowo X
• Tap Go on the home page
• Select Money Requests
• Input the amount you are requesting
• Select the requestee’s Eyowo phone number (The number must be listed on your phone’s contact)
• Add a note (compulsory)
• Click on Request Money
• Input your password

And that’s it! Your request has been successfully sent. You will receive a notification if your request is accepted or rejected.

How to generate a Payment Link

• Launch your Eyowo X
• Tap Go on the home page
• Select Payment Link
• Tap on the plus sign at the top right corner
• Fill in the required details
• You’ll notice a toggle button. In the event you want the recipient to determine how much to send to you, turn it on
• Add a note if necessary
• Tap on create payment link button

Share your link and get paid without sending your account number!

How to get paid via your QR Code

• Launch your Eyowo X
• Tap on GO
• Select Scan to Pay
• Click on Tap to share to share your QR code
