How to increase your transfer limit and upgrade your Eyowo account easily

We introduced account verification and tiers to ensure that only YOU has access to YOUR money. We also need to confirm that you are who you say you are to enable you to enjoy our services with no limits.

Here’s all you need to know about tiers and how to move between them;

Tier 0

With a Tier 0 account, you can do everything, like receive money, make payment requests, e.t.c but you can not send money out. Every new account on Eyowo is on Tier 0 by default. A Tier 0 account doesn’t have a confirmed BVN (Bank Verification Number) and a valid ID (a driver’s license, voter’s card, international passport, national ID card, or NIN slip).

Tier 1

With a Tier 1 account, you can do everything, like receive money, make payment requests, e.t.c but the maximum amount you can send is 10,000 Naira per transaction and not more than 50,000 Naira a day. To upgrade your account to Tier 1 from Tier 0,

  1. Click ‘More’
  2. Click ‘Upgrade’
  3. Click ‘Provide personal details ’
  4. Take a selfie image of your face. (Please know that this image will be used for document verification if you choose to further upgrade your account).
  5. Complete the form by providing your: First name Last name Gender Address Email address and details of your Next of KIN
  6. Click ‘submit details’ to submit your personal details.
  7. You’re Good to Go!

Tier 2

With a Tier 2 account, you can do everything, like receive money, make payment requests, e.t.c but the maximum amount you can send is 50,000 Naira per transaction and not more than 200,000 Naira a day. To upgrade your account to Tier 2,

  1. Click ‘More’
  2. Click ‘Upgrade’
  3. Click ‘link your BVN”
  4. Enter ‘BVN number and click verify BVN’
  5. Enter ‘OTP sent to the phone number linked to your BVN’
  6. If you didn’t get any OTP, click try another method and fill in the details requested.
  7. Click ‘verify BVN’ to complete the verification
  8. Take a selfie image of your face. (Please know that this image will be used for document verification if you choose to further upgrade your account).
  9. Click ‘Next’ to provide details of your “Next of KIN”
  10. Click ‘submit details’ to ‘submit your personal details.’
  11. You’re Good to Go!

Tier 3

With a Tier 3 account, you can do everything, like receive money, make payment requests, e.t.c but the maximum amount you can send is 1,000,000 Naira per transaction and not more than 5,000,000 Naira a day. To upgrade your account to Tier 3,

  1. Click ‘More’
  2. Click ‘Upgrade’
  3. Click ‘upload ID’
  4. Select ‘your preferred type of document from the list’ of valid ID (a driver’s license, voter’s card, national ID card or NIN slip).
  5. Enter ‘identification number of the chosen document’
  6. Upload or take a picture of the front and back view of the chosen document.
  7. Click ‘submit to verify document information provided’
